Vivo iQOO Pad2 Pro – A Powerful Tablet With Impressive Specs At An Affordable Price
Vivo recently launched its latest tablet, the iQOO Pad2 Pro. As someone who reviews tech products, I was eager to test out this new tablet to see how it stacks up. Here are my key impressions after spending some time with the iQOO Pad2 Pro.
Design and Display
The iQOO Pad2 Pro has a premium design with its glass front and aluminum rear and frame. It feels solidly built and the weight of 679g is manageable for a large 13-inch tablet. The 13-inch display has thin bezels giving it an 87.6% screen-to-body ratio which is great for media consumption. With a resolution of 2064×3096, everything looks sharp on this display. It also supports a 144Hz refresh rate and gets bright at up to 900 nits making it easy to use even in direct sunlight.
Performance and Hardware
Powering the iQOO Pad2 Pro is the flagship-grade Mediatek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, providing high-speed and smooth performance. Even with demanding games and apps, I did not experience any lag. It comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage ensuring you won’t run out of memory soon. Other hardware highlights include dual stereo speakers, NFC support, and an 11,500mAh battery that easily lasts over a day of mixed use on a single charge.
Software Experience
The iQOO Pad2 Pro runs on Android 14 with Vivo’s OriginOS 4 skin on top. The interface is clean and intuitive to use. I liked the various productivity and entertainment features like multi-window support and an easy way to pair Bluetooth devices. Vivo has also promised two major Android updates and three years of security patches, which is better than most other brands.
Affordable Price
Considering the flagship specifications and build quality, I was surprised by the tablet’s aggressive price tag of around 440 euros for the base model. This undercuts most other brands’ tablets with similar configurations by a huge margin. Vivo seems to have priced this aggressively to make a mark in the tablet market.
