vivo T3x Review: A Solid Mid-Range Choice
The vivo T3x was recently launched as the company’s newest mid-range smartphone option. With a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, a large 6.72-inch display, a big 6000mAh battery, and an affordable price tag, the T3x has much going for it on paper. In this review, I’ll break down the key specs and features to see if the T3x lives up to its potential.
Design and Display
The vivo T3x has a plastic build that feels durable yet lightweight at 199g. It comes in Celestial Green and Crimson Bliss color options—a large 6.72-inch LCD screen on the front with FHD+ resolution and a high 120Hz refresh rate. The screen looks bright and clear with good viewing angles. It has thin bezels but still retains a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
Hardware and Performance
Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor with configurations of 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM. This provides a good everyday performance for tasks like messaging, browsing, and light gaming. Graphically intensive games may start to stutter occasionally though. Storage options are 128GB or 256GB with microSD expansion. The T3x handled multitasking and apps well in my testing.
Battery Life
The massive 6000mAh battery is a definite highlight. I easily got over a day and a half of usage on a single charge with moderate use. The included 44W fast charging also topped the battery up very quickly. Battery life is a clear strength here.
Camera
The rear camera has a 50MP main and 2MP depth sensor. Photos taken in good lighting look clear with accurate colors, though low-light shots get soft. The 8MP front camera is suitable for selfies and video calls. Video recording maxes out at 4K@30fps on the 8GB RAM model.
