Vivo X100s Pro – A Flagship Phone To Look Out For
The vivo X100s Pro is an upcoming flagship phone from Vivo that is set for release in May 2024. Based on the specifications revealed on GSMArena, this device is shaping up to be one to watch in the high-end smartphone space.
Design and Display
Right off the bat, the X100s Pro makes a strong first impression with its metal and glass construction giving it a premium feel. At just 8.9mm thin and weighing 224g, it also manages to achieve a slender profile despite having a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display. This display supports a high 120Hz refresh rate and gets incredibly bright at 3000 nits peak brightness. With a resolution of 1260 x 2800, content should look sharp and details at this screen size.
Performance Powerhouse
Under the hood, the X100s Pro is packed with the latest and most powerful mobile hardware. This includes the powerful Mediatek Dimensity 9300+ chipset built on a 4nm process. Coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, apps and games should fly without any slowdowns or memory issues. Graphics are handled by the Immortalis-G720 GPU which should deliver excellent gaming performance.
Triple Camera Prowess
At the rear is a versatile triple camera setup headlined by a trio of 50MP sensors. This includes a main wide, an ultrawide, as well as a periscope telephoto lens capable of 4.3x optical zoom. All three benefit from ZEISS optics and lenses along with advanced features like laser autofocus and OIS on the main and tele cameras. On the front, a high resolution 32MP selfie camera takes clear portraits.
Long Battery Life and Fast Charging
A 5400mAh battery provides the X100s Pro with excellent multi-day battery life. When the battery does run low, it can be replenished quickly with support for 100W wired charging that can apparently charge from 1-50% in just 12 minutes. Wireless charging is also supported at 50W for cable-free power ups.
Overall, the vivo X100s Pro is shaping up to be one of the top Android phones of 2024 based on its specs. Once it’s launched, performance, cameras and battery life will need to be evaluated, but on paper vivo has packed this phone with top-tier features. It will be one to keep an eye on.
