vivo X100 Pro Review: A Powerful Camera King?

The vivo X100 Pro is the company’s latest flagship smartphone for mobile photographers and selfie lovers. With a trio of impressive 50MP cameras and some top-end specs, does it deserve to be crowned as the camera king?

Design & Display

The vivo X100 Pro features a beautiful 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200p+ resolution. This provides crisp images and smooth scrolling. Corning Gorilla Glass protects it and has slim bezels all around for an immersive viewing experience.

The phone feels solidly built with its glass front and back sandwiching an aluminum frame. It’s IP68-rated for dust and water resistance too. At just 8.9mm thick, it’s surprisingly slim for a large phone.

Cameras

This is where the X100 Pro shines. On the rear, it packs a triple 50MP camera system consisting of a wide, ultrawide, and periscope telephoto lens. All three lenses have PDAF and OIS for stabilized shots. The periscope lens provides an impressive 4.3x optical zoom.

Vivo’s Funtouch OS is smooth and lightweight. It offers many personalization options and privacy protections without much bloatware. The software experience is on par with competitors like OnePlus.

A 5,400mAh battery keeps the phone running for over a day of moderate usage. It supports incredibly fast 100W wired charging that can recharge from 1-50% in just 12 minutes. Wireless charging is available too.
