Review: vivo iQOO 12 Pro Flagship Phone

The vivo iQOO 12 Pro was recently unveiled as the company’s latest premium flagship smartphone powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Based on the specs revealed on GsmArena, this looks to be one of the top Android phones of 2023.

Design and Display

Measuring 164.6 x 75.4 x 8.6mm and weighing between 205-210g, the iQOO 12 Pro has a solid build and premium feel thanks to its metal and glass construction. It sports a large and vibrant 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. The screen has an impressive refresh rate of 144Hz and gets very bright at up to 1600 nits. It also supports HDR10+ for enhanced colors and shadows.

Performance and Specs

Under the hood is the potent Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip coupled with 16GB of RAM, which should deliver blazing-fast performance for gaming, multitasking, and more. Storage options include 256GB/512GB/1TB all with the speedy UFS 4.0 standard. The software is Android 14 with iQOO’s Funtouch UI.
