The vivo iQOO Pad2 Pro: A Premium Tablet Powerhouse

Vivo has just announced its new flagship tablet, the iQOO Pad2 Pro. From the specifications revealed so far, this premium Android tablet looks set to take on the likes of the iPad Pro with its powerful hardware and features.

Design and Display

The iQOO Pad2 Pro has a slick design with its glass front and aluminum back/frame construction. At just 6.6mm thick and weighing 679g, it’s relatively lightweight and thin for a 13-inch tablet.

The display is a 13-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2064×3096, which works out to a pixel density of around 286ppi. It has a high refresh rate of 144Hz and support for HDR10 and 900 nits of peak brightness. This large, high-res, and high refresh rate display should make for an immersive viewing experience whether you’re streaming movies, browsing the web, or gaming.

Hardware and Performance

Under the hood is a top-of-the-line Mediatek Dimensity 9300+ chipset built on a 4nm process. This is paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The Immortalis G720 MC12 GPU handles graphics.

This combination of the latest silicon from Mediatek and generous RAM/storage options means the iQOO Pad2 Pro should be mighty. It should have no trouble handling demanding mobile games, multi-tasking heavy workloads, or smoothly streaming graphics-intensive 4K content.

Cameras and Battery

An 8MP front camera is included for video calls. On the rear is a 13MP single camera for basic photography needs.

Keeping the power-packed hardware going is an enormous 11,500mAh battery. The included 66W fast charger should top it up quickly. There’s also 5W reverse wireless charging if you need to power up other devices.

Pricing and Availability

The iQOO Pad2 Pro is expected to launch sometime in June 2024 with prices starting around 440 euros. This puts it in the higher-end of the tablet market but with the hardware on offer, it looks like serious competition for Apple’s iPad Pro line. Early impressions are that the iQOO Pad2 Pro could be one of the most powerful Android tablets of 2024.
