vivo Pad3 Pro Tablet Review: A Powerful Android Slab for Productivity and Entertainment
The vivo Pad3 Pro is the company’s latest high-end Android tablet for users looking for a large-screen device for both work and play. With its 13-inch 2K display, powerful Dimensity 9300 chipset, and massive 11,500mAh battery, the Pad3 Pro promises to be a capable mobile workstation and media powerhouse.
Display and Design
The Pad3 Pro sports a gorgeous 13-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2064×3096, which is a step above full HD. The screen supports 1 billion colors, a high 144Hz refresh rate, and gets extremely bright at up to 900 nits. The display gives you plenty of screen real estate for multitasking between apps and viewing content. The tablet has slim bezels on the sides but slightly thicker on the bottom. It weighs just 679g making it comfortable to hold for long periods.
Under the hood, the Pad3 Pro is powered by the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. This ensures fluid performance whether you’re gaming, editing photos/videos, or switching between several productivity apps. It comes with Android 14 and Vivo’s OriginOS overlay.
Camera and Battery
For photography needs, the Pad3 Pro relies on a single 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. Both are adequate for video calls and casual photography but not meant for serious photo/video work. However, the massive 11,500mAh battery more than makes up for it with its multiday endurance on a single charge. It supports 66W fast charging as well.
Early Verdict
At around 380 euros, the vivo Pad3 Pro seems like an enticing choice for users looking for an all-round Android tablet with excellent specs and build quality. Its big vivid display, powerful processor, and the huge battery should satisfy work and entertainment demands. The lack of 5G and average cameras are minor tradeoffs for the overall package. If vivo can keep the software experience refined, the Pad3 Pro could be a strong choice considering its very competitive price point.
